A man who sparked chaos at a wedding while dancing with two sparklers in hand has been praised after he quickly sprung into action.

A “drunk” wedding guest has been caught on camera accidentally setting fire to reception decorations as he danced while holding two sparklers.

The man, believed to be based in the US, is seen walking out of a barn while holding a lit sparklers in each hand.

Dressed in a black suit with an olive green shirt, he makes a beeline for a woman and starts dancing with her as the 1992 hit I’m Too Sexy by Right Said Fred plays.

But, when he flicked his hand back, the unexpected happens.

Flames begin to form over a flower decoration that was sitting on top of a barrel behind him.

Another guest screamed when she saw what was happening.

However the man continued to show off his moves, unaware of the chaos he was creating as he danced.

Some started to scream the man’s name while other’s called out, “Fire.”

When he eventually realised what was going on, the man turned around and used his arm to push the ornament down to the floor.

He then stamped on it, putting the fire out.

After the momentary chaos, he then began to dance again as guests appeared to speak to him about what had happened.

The video made a splash on social media, with many defending the man’s actions.

“Not his fault. Who signed off on the sparklers? He should apologise to no one. My man was just feelin’ wedding reception mode,” one person wrote.

Another added: “Sees a fire and first instinct is to use HIS BARE F***ING HAND TO SWIPE IT AWAY LIKE AN APE.”

A third added: “This [is] how drunk I’m tryna be at my wedding.”
