Are Madlyn And Colby From 'The Ultimatum' Still Together Now?

“Marriage is a totally different ballgame for us.”

The Ultimatum brings together all the dating drama you know and love from Netflix's hit series Love Is Blind in a brand new show. ICYMI, the series are both created by the same team, so you know things are about to get messy.

The rules are pretty simple: At the beginning, six couples arrive. In each couple, one partner is ready for marriage, while the other isn't. The partner with cold feet is given an ultimatum: Tie the knot or split up.

Hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey guide all 12 contestants through rounds of speed dating before eventually pairing them up with someone else to try living together for three weeks. After that, they'll get back together with their original significant other and see if the connection is still there.

At the end, each couple will decide if they want to stay together and get married, break up, or (gasp) move on with someone else in the group.

Madlyn Ballatori and Colby Kissinger came into the show on totally separate pages. Colby was *more* than ready to marry Madlyn, while she was unsure if she was comfortable taking such a big step. They had plenty of ups and downs on the show, but was it worth it in the end?

Colby and Madlyn sat down with Women's Health to talk all things (reality) dating—including a huge update on their relationship. Here's everything to know about where they are now:

As a refresher, here's Madlyn:

In episode 1, Colby was head over heels for Madlyn. But, she wasn't sure if she could commit to him. Flash forward to a week of speed dating, and Madlyn instantly hit it off with Randall, another contestant. Meanwhile, Colby's initial connection with Lauren faded pretty quickly after she got engaged to her long-time boyfriend Nathan on the show.

Madlyn and Randall enjoyed living together, but by the end of it, Madlyn was ready to give Colby another shot. Colby, on the other hand, had grown closer to his new partner April. Moving back in together proved difficult for both of them—especially after Madlyn saw Colby's texts to other women (not from the show) saying they were in an open relationship.

One thing they both agree on is that The Ultimatum only filmed the surface of their connection with each other. "I think the love that me and Colby have for each other was, I mean, maybe like a tenth of a hundredth of a percent was shown," Madlyn tells Women's Health.

"Overall, I feel like our dynamic wasn't truly shown—who we are as individuals, as couples," Colby adds. "We helped other couples through their situation, giving advice, and how well we work together when there's not chaotic stuff [happening] around us and being forced in certain situations, or being thrown into another conversation that we shouldn't probably be a part of, but we're needing to assist."

"It throws our dynamic out of proportion. It's not us anymore," he continues. "We didn't feel like a team in this. We felt very opposite of each other throughout the whole experience."

While Colby and Madlyn were apart, they both grew close with their new partners April and Randall. Then, When they got to watch the series for themselves, Colby recalls the one thing that surprised him the most: "Damn, that kiss Randall laid on her, by far. Because I was thinking, like, a kiss, and it was, like, a kiss. You know what I'm saying?"

"You and April had a kiss, too," Madlyn adds. "We made sure that we talked about everything, so much more than was even shown on the actual show. We wanted to be so transparent about every little thing so that there were no surprises." She continues, "it was just actually getting the visual of it that was a little, like, 'Hmmm.' "

But, she explains that she and Colby both knew they were going to fully dive into their new relationships. "That's what we went into the show [and] this experience with an understanding of what we were doing in agreement," she tells WH. "It was expected that he would kiss April, that I would kiss Randall, that we would fully explore these relationships."

At first, "I was for sure hesitant," Madlyn reveals. "Colby has always been, since day one, he's like, 'My parents got married after six months. They've been together 30 years, like just this dream reality.' "

"And then my parents got divorced my senior year of high school—amicably—and I have a wonderful family, but still it's kind of like, 'Wow. He has had this dream situation that I need to really test and push the limits of.' And our really had been so easy-breezy that, I mean, we really didn't have our first fights or anything until the show," she continues ("Major fight," Colby adds).

"I mean, we bickered, but our first real trials were seen on camera. And I think I needed that. I needed to know like... when shit happens, can we build it back up?" Madlyn explains. "I've never been so stressed out and tested."

They’re definitely still together—and they’re married and expecting a baby! “Marriage is a totally different ballgame for us,” Madlyn says. Then she dropped this huge news: “We're having a baby! We're 35 weeks pregnant.” (They’re expecting a girl, BTW.)

Madlyn was originally worried that her dad would be upset at not being at her wedding, but she says he’s been “very happy” and “very supportive” of everything. “Colby did actually drive up to Houston and get his blessing beforehand,” she says. “So, my dad couldn't be happier for us and now our new baby also.”

The couple plans to have a bigger, non-reality show wedding at some point, too. “Right after filming, I went and I got my dress,” Madlyn says. “I was like, 'I need my dad to walk me down the aisle.' Now, I can no longer fit in it, but as soon as I can, we wanna get everybody together and do some sort of vow renewal or just something to celebrate and get everyone together for sure.”

The couple also shared some details about life post-Ultimatum, including the fact that there’s a group text among the cast. “It's interesting how people respond to certain people within the group chat,” Colby says. “All the girls—despite some of the girls' nights—we really did have a great respect for each other, and the guys also,” Madlyn says. “So, we know where we are now. We're all very happy for each other, and we like to keep up and stay supportive, for sure.”

Still, she says, “I'm not, like, hearting every one of Randall's messages, right? But there's a [mutual] respect.”

The baby is due on May 10—which is Colby’s birthday—and the couple got married on May 11 last year. “We have, like, one day to celebrate everything,” Madlyn says.

Big congrats to the happy couple!
