I always try my hardest to show grace, and laughing at the demise of another would go directly against that sentiment. Why find joy in another’s unfortunate departure from the playoffs? After all, didn’t I experience the same unfortunate departure only a couple of weeks back? Staying grounded and composed is the best thing to do … EXCEPT FOR WHEN GRAYSON ALLEN LOSES, SUCKERS!

•   I have respect for the Milwaukee Bucks. I really do. Giannis Antetokounmpo is an absurdly likable superstar who is already in the thick of a legendary career. Jrue Holiday is also an extremely talented defender who is equally tough to hate. Bobby Portis is a former Bull who I continue to support. Brook Lopez is a no-nonsense big man who has put together a respectable career. And it’s not like the Bucks brand is anything Bulls fans have come to vigorously hate over the years. These two organizations have rarely been good at the same time, so my general animosity toward the franchise as a whole isn’t all that intense.

•  Grayson Allen, on the other hand, is a different story. For all I care, that man could be picked up by a giant pterodactyl, dropped into a nest with a bunch of baby pterodactyls, and forced to eat gross mushy bugs for the rest of eternity. I think that’s a suitable punishment to pay for his extremely dirty play on Alex Caruso.

•   The Boston Celtics are now headed toward an Eastern Conference Finals showdown with the Miami Heat. If we’re being honest, I’m not at all jazzed about how that matchup could play out. While both are extremely talented and disciplined basketball teams, that doesn’t always produce the most enjoyable basketball to watch. But, alas, it should be a relatively closely contested series – one that I’m not sure who will walk out of alive.

•   I think my money would be on the Celtics simply because Jayson Tatum has taken another step forward this postseason. However, they’re also the lesser-experienced group coming off arguably the most physical series of the playoffs. Jimmy Butler and Co. were in the Finals just a couple of years back, and they also play arguably the smartest game in the NBA. So, yeah, if Jimmy G. Buckets finds himself with another chance at a ring, I won’t be too surprised.

•   Speaking of Mr. Buckets, here is a list of all the former Bulls who will be in the conference finals this season: Jimmy Butler (MIA), Max Strus (MIA), Luke ‘Robert Horry’ Kornet (BOS), Daniel Theis (BOS), Spencer Dinwiddie (DAL), and Otto Porter (GS). Is it just me or does that feel like a lot?

•   I didn’t think we would see a bigger stinker than the one the Bulls left on the court in their Game 3 loss to the Bucks, but the reigning Western champions supplied us with one. Phoenix scored just 27 freakin’ points in the first half, which Luka Doncic individually matched! What an embarrassing display.

•   The NBA Combine starts today and will run through the remainder of the week. The NBA Draft lottery will also take place on Thursday night in Chicago. I thought Bleacher Report’s Jonathan Wasserman put together a great preview of what the next handful of days could have in store:
